through Hands-on Zoology
PATH Zoology is a non-profit organization tailored to helps autistic youth develop of social skills through animal-assisted intervention. Distinct course levels would be available for the students, so autistic youth can participate within their respective level.
Courses
Level 1 Course
Free
The level 1 course introduces basic zoology concepts, and covers animal biology and behavior, hands-on animal care, and social skills development through structured group activities. The course is for autistic youth between the ages of 6 to 10
Level 2 Course
Free
The level 2 course offers intermediate zoology knowledge, focusing on animal species, habitats, conservation, animal enrichment activities, and enhanced social skills development through collaborative projects. The course is for autistic youth between the ages of 11 to 14
Level 3 Course
Free
The level 3 course covers advanced zoology concepts, animal behavior, genetics, field research techniques, research and observation skills, and advanced social skills development, including public speaking and project management. The course is for autistic youth between the ages of 15 to 17
